To find God’s perfect peace

I do not want to see
Deep sorrow in a human face
It breaks the heart in me
When someone falls from grace.

I’ve watched a weeping one
Who morns the path of pain
Who wants consequences done
And to be in the light again.

Yet, I trust the Lord to know
The way to thresh the floor
And each soul to try to save
And lay them up in store.

The road to perfect peace
And never-ending joy
Where chains of Hell release
And all sorrow is Destroyed,

Must pass through darkest mist
And Churned up Guilty Mire
To find the purest bliss
And be immersed in Holy Fire.
