International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies in Salt Lake City

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS) held their meeting in Salt Lake City in order to use The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints family history library. I thought this was a wise decision as the attendees were able to go to seminars, but also able to use the family history library to do research. I find it heartening that Jews and Mormons were able to work together.

    Mormons have a special place in their hearts for the Jewish People as we are also of the House of Israel. As Mormons we believe that we are adopted into the family of Israel.
